5 Reasons We Love Avon

There’s no place we’d rather be.

HomePro is located in Avon, because our owners were born and raised here. This town offers a lifestyle that’s hard to beat – great schools, beautiful parks, and plenty of fun activities to enjoy. These are just a handful of the reasons we love living in Avon:

1. Washington Township Park

This 160-acre Avon park is two miles west of HomePro’s office. We’ve enjoyed spending time here over the years, at family picnics, playing volleyball, or just relaxing in the shade. Notable attractions here include a large dog park (separated into three sections based on dog size) and the historic 1876 Whipple Iron Truss Bridge. You could really spend an entire day here without becoming bored!

2. The B&O Trail

The B&O Trail – named for the former railroad – runs through Avon, between the community of Clermont and North County Road 250 East. This paved trail is about 16 miles long and passes through and over some beautiful areas. We love having this trail so close to home.

3. Hot Skates

When the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor activities, this skating rink on Casco Drive is a fun place to visit. In addition to roller skating, the rink has arcade games and refreshments, and you reserve the whole building for private parties.

4. Avon High School

During basketball and football season, Avon High School is the heart of the community. Going to a game here is a fun experience for the whole family!

5. The Neighborhoods

We’ve enjoyed watching Avon grow over the years and the development of its neighborhoods. Some of our favorites are Parks at Prestwick, next to Prestwick Country Club; Red Oak Drive and its beautifully manicured lawns; and Brownstone, at 100 North and Sunset Boulevard. (We service all of those areas, by the way).
